Contributing Membership

Thank you for your interest in becoming a contributing member of the Brickwalk Project!

As we strive to bring a new level of art vibrancy to Kearney Nebraska, we hope to find like-minded individuals from across the region who will work with us to share our vision, passion and creativity as we continue strengthening our community through art.  We welcome both artist and non-artist members from all skill levels, ages and walks of life to help us effectively promote our project, gallery, events and artworks.  As we continue to make a positive impact on our local art presence, together we will grow from each others abilities and gifts to unite as a community of creators focused on orchestrating our project to pave the way for the future of Kearney's visual arts.  
 
Contributing Member
$150/year or 8 volunteer hours per quarter (32 annual)
50% Artist Commission (40% to Gallery, 7% Sales Tax and 3% Merchant Fees)
Limited - ​Artist’s works are screened and Jury selected works (up to 3) of a specific style and medium and are approved for exhibition in the gallery. A minimum of one additional jury selected work may be exhibited at one of the host venue sites in the community.
 
Expanded - Artist’s works are screened and Jury has give *full approval to the Artist’s style & medium for exhibition in the gallery.  A minimum of 3 (dependent on side of works) will be on display during scheduled hours at the Brickwalk Gallery.  A minimum of one additional work may be exhibited at one of the host venue sites in the community.  (*Full approval may be revoked if subject matter/content does not align with Gallery standards or if quality of art falls below the approved standard. )​
Hours Available: Sat. 10am-2pm Thur. 6-8pm Mon. 5-7pm 
Gallery Hours-Minimum of half the hour’s commitment must be spent overseeing open gallery times.
Overseeing duties examples include: Trash, Dusting, Sweep, Window Glass, General Care of Space.
