Mosts artists who draw from memory tend to unintentionally share a likeness with the portaits they want to depict.  This seems to be the case as my children and others noted this depiction of Jesus looks more like myself than what we assume to resemble Jesus.  Maybe this is the message that God wanted me to share as Jesus lives within us all and it is up to us to follow his path and aspire to be more like Him.  Be wise, bold and couragous, yet calm and patient as we navigate life, seeking and sharing the truth as Christians.
